We are proud announce our wild next release ‘Bing Bong‘ by Horse MacGyver.
“Bing Bong” is the blazing third LP by Naarm / Melbourne based media artist, sound designer, and musical provocateur Timothy Dwyer aka Horse MacGyver.
On “Bing Bong”, Dwyer expands his turbulent electronic sonic palette to incorporate the clamorous sonorities of Melbourne’s extraordinary public sound sculpture: the Federation Bells.
Industrial percussion collides with high energy synthesis, miasmic hooks, plaintive melodies and skull-crushing production, creating a seriously unique collection of playful, chaotic, and gleefully avantgarde experimental bangers.
Through multi era-bridging hardware rigs and a deep fried approach to MIDI composition we see Dwyer reconstruct the Federation Square Bells to create this new body of work.
This is a limited edition of 300 translucent aqua vinyl copies with OBI strip and cover art by Horse MacGyver. Preorders are now up.
Set for release November 21st, “Bing Bong” is another example of how Dwyer’s practice continues to wind its own path through the hair-splitting maze that is electronic music.
